Update on non-funded, non-contracted services at the Practice

We are sorry to announce that we are no longer able to dispense HOSPITAL SCRIPTS at either Practice.  Whilst we have tried to accommodate patients as much as possible in the past with these prescriptions, which are prescribed by hospital consultants, the medical administration and dispensing of hospital scripts is NOT included in our GP contract.

With many medications and consultant care pathways becoming increasingly complex, it is time-consuming and not within the expertise of our GPs to process hospital scripts, and we can no longer afford the time they require.

Hospital scripts can be readily dispensed from hospital pharmacies and local chemists/pharmacies.
