Dispensing Information
Eligibility
We offer an on-site dispensing service at both surgeries for acute and repeat prescriptions for eligible patients (resident more than 1 mile or 1.6km from a pharmacy or chemist AS THE CROW FLIES). The following website can calculate the direct distance for you: Doogal - Measure Distance As Crow Flies (FYI St Briavels surgery is GL15 6TN and Trellech surgery is NP25 4RB) so you can check if you live more than 1 mile away.
Repeat Prescriptions
The Practice operates a repeat prescription service from the dispensary in both surgeries. You will be informed when your repeat prescriptions will need renewing, so please make an appointment in good time to ensure a continuous supply of medication.
PLEASE NOTE: 48 hours (two working days) notice is required for repeat prescriptions. This does not include weekends and Bank Holidays, as we are closed on these days. Please also take care to order in advance of your own holidays.

We operate a voicemail messaging service so that you can submit your request 24 hours a day. If you use this service please be sure to leave the name, date of birth and the name of the medication for the person who requires it. Please call:

In Person |
You can attend either surgery in person and speak to one of our Dispensers. Or you can use the reorder slip provided with your previous medications, clearly marking exactly what is needed. This can be handed to a member of the dispensary team. |

On Line |
We use a system called 'My Health on Line' (MHOL). Please collect details from our reception team, download and complete this form or you can sign up via Surgery App. You will need to return the form and provide photo ID. You will then receive a registration letter allowing you to create an account. If you already have an account you can order your repeat medications via this link or by saving Login - My Health Online (wales.nhs.uk) to your favourite device.
