Spring Covid-19 Booster Campaign

We're pleased to let you know that we're now authorised to administer the Covid-19 Spring booster vaccinations to our patients aged over 75.

If you are aged 75 or over by 30/06/2023 (incl) then you will shortly receive an invitation to attend for your spring booster. The invitations will be sent via the Aneurin Bevan health board and will appear on their letterheaded paper. You will be offered a date and time to attend and the vaccination will be delivered by your friendly Wye Valley Practice team at Trellech surgery. Please do your best to attend on the date/time offered but get in touch if it's not possible to do so and we'll do our best to re-schedule.

We are currently issuing invitations for:

SATURDAY 15 APRIL - between 09:00 - 13:00 & 13:30 - 17:30
WEDNESDAY 26 APRIL - between 14:00 - 17:30

As with all previous booster campaigns we strongly encourage you to take up this offer to afford yourself the best protection. Covid-19 is still circulating in our community.

If you do not wish to receive this booster and have received an invite, please contact us to let us know you're declining. This is really important so we know not to continue to invite you.

PLEASE NOTE: we are NOT yet authorised to invite immunosuppressed patients for this spring booster vaccination. We anticipate we will receive authorisation for this group and the list of patients eligible in May, so please bear with us whilst we await this.

Only patients aged 75 and over (up to and including 30/06/2023) and those who are severely or currently immunosuppressed are eligible to receive this booster.
