Easyfundraising Launch
Did you know that here at WVP we have a Medical Equipment Fund? We use this fund to purchase equipment and items that are not available to us under the NHS. In the past, this has included:
We believe these items allow us to offer the best possible service and experience for more of our patients.
We do receive generous donations from our patients and supporters and for this we are hugely grateful. But we recognise and understand that increasing living costs may make one-off donations more challenging.
To help keep funds coming into our Medical Equipment Fund (MEF) we have signed up to a web-based platform called easyfundraising.
How it works?
Easyfundraising partners with over 7,000 brands who will donate part of what you spend to a cause of your choice.
Brands pay easyfundraising a commission because it helps them to understand where their customers have come from – this is then turned in to donations. It won’t impact the cost you pay for items you purchase, nor will it cost you anything as this is covered by the brand.
You can help us to raise funds by signing up today and selecting 'Wye Valley Practice MEF' as the cause you’d like to support. You can find us under ‘Health & Wellbeing’.
Once you have set up an account, you will have the option to install a browser extension which they call their ‘Donation Reminder’. This will pop up on every retailer site where a donation is available, so you don’t have to remember anything. There is also an App available in the Apple and Google Play stores.
